LinkedIn profile photo has now been shifted to the left-hand side instead of center. This allows more open space for your background image. You can now design a background image that incorporates a quote, branding or call to action.

Introduction section

This section now includes current experience, education, connections and contact information. Social Media Examiner encourages adding your website URL and most updated information. Also, the character count is now up to 300.

GIFs in the messaging section

Break the ice by sending a GIF via the LinkedIn mobile app. Word of caution though, LinkedIn is your professional social network. Unlike other social media platforms, know your audience and network. Not everyone will appreciate a screaming GIF.

Native video available for company pages

Do you have native video in your personal profile timeline? Now you can also upload native videos to your Company pages.
